I am not a big veggie lover (although I am getting better!), so I love recipes that take ordinary vegetables and make them extraordinary! Such is the case with our family’s favorite way to eat green beans.
I originally found this recipe from the Duggar Family, but I’ve adapted it to fit our family of four
Spectacular Sauteed Green Beans
1/4 cup Bragg’s Liquid Aminos
5-6 cloves of garlic, pressed
2 lb bag frozen whole green beans (I use French style)
In a large pot, sauté the Bragg’s Liquid Aminos and garlic on high until bubbly. Add frozen green beans (or canned green beans!). Stir well, cover and cook on high, stirring occasionally, until desired tenderness.
Great as a side to grilled chicken!

I’m just about to pull the last of my green beans from my garden, so this recipe is making me feel a little sentimental about them. But I won’t feel sad when I cook them up. Thank you for linking up with the Hearth and Soul hop.

I know it is sad to pull everything out of the garden. I just did this weekend, and found some surprise green beans waiting for me under a mess of cucumbers and tomatoes. Bonus!

Simple, delicious green beans are a big hit in this house. We usually prefer our veg “old-school”
Thank you for sharing this with the hearth and soul hop this week!

girlichef, I only wish my family would eat veggies “old-school”. Here we have to dress them up or hide them

I love green beans so much! I like mine with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, herbs, seeds and feta cheese!

Melodie, your version of green beans sounds wonderful too! Never put feta with mine. Will have to try that next time
