Or, do you look in your pantry with a blank stare, wondering what you will make for dinner?
The answer is to organize your pantry.
I love to organize my pantry about twice a year, with updates every month. I . . . → Read More: Tidy-Up Thursday AND Frugal Friday – Organize Your Pantry

By simplify, on June 27th, 2010% I’ve been on a bit of a frugal kick lately, and also making some changes to our lifestyle to make it a bit more healthy. This got me thinking on one of my favorite time and money savers…freezer cooking!
What is freezer cooking? Well, the definition is different for many people. Some use this as a “once a month cooking” concept, where there is just one day of cooking, where you make all the meals for the month and then freeze them, ready to bake or to be eaten. Some only do partial prep work for all the month’s meals. . . . → Read More: Save Time and Money with Freezer Cooking

By simplify, on June 3rd, 2010% Menu planning is something I used to do quite often (albeit loosely), but I have strayed recently. So, I’m getting back on track, since menu planning is something that you can do that is not only easy, but will also save you time and money.
I like to plan my menu for an entire month at a time, since I am usually grocery shopping only once a month.
First, I take stock of what I already have in my pantry. This step must be first! Most people plan the menu, then look to see what they already have in the . . . → Read More: Save Time And Money With Menu Planning
By simplify, on May 25th, 2010% On one hand, I run an organization and time management coaching company, OrganizeNOW. And, on the other hand, I have a doctorate degree and did research in infectious diseases for years. This lead to my quest on finding healthier alternatives, and discovering Norwex.
I realized long ago that the easiest thing to control is our own environment, namely, our home. We can also control what food we put in our bodies (but that’s a topic for another day…go watch the movie Food, Inc.).
In helping people manage their time, one of the biggest complaints is the regular things that need . . . → Read More: 10 Steps to Creating a Healthy Home
By simplify, on May 5th, 2010% One of the foundational teachings that I constantly am telling others is that they must plan their day, they must own a planner, and they must carry it with them at all times. Then, when someone makes an appointment with them, they have it with them (at all times) to be able to make note of the appointment immediately!
So, great in theory, but I have always had one tiny problem – I don’t like all of the planners out there! I’ve often debated about just designing and making my own planner to suit my needs (and that still might . . . → Read More: Build Your Own Planner
By simplify, on April 29th, 2010% At the beginning of the week, I started the Clear Out The Clutter Challenge Week, and well, the first change needed was evident very soon after starting.
We started out with a great start working on my office in day 1, but I only got about 1/2 way through the office. Then, day 2 decided to start with the laundry room (in an attempt to stay on schedule) and was excited to finish the laundry room that day.
But, on day 3, I went back into the office, and proceeded to spend the rest of that day and day 4 . . . → Read More: Clear Out The Clutter Challenge – Week 1
By simplify, on April 22nd, 2010% I’ve been reading over at MoneySavingMom.com (one of my favorite blogs for some great deals), and she recently had a Clear Out The Clutter Challenge.
Well, as you can imagine, as I was looking at her before and after pictures, I was impressed, and inspired. Inspired enough to look around and notice that I need my own “spring cleaning”. So, next week the children are on spring break and we are going to have our very own Clear Out The Clutter Challenge Week!
Now, normally, I would not suggest that you try to declutter your entire home in a week, . . . → Read More: Clear Out The Clutter Challenge Week!
By simplify, on March 26th, 2010% Ahhh…all of the hard work has finally caught up to me. After working on weekend projects, organizing, decluttering, reading books, calling prospects, working my businesses, recording videos, editing web pages, making gifts, and just accomplishing a LOT of stuff in the past 20 days, I am tired. Happy and productive, but tired (really, this is my own fault, as I have not been sticking to my bedtime).
So, today’s goal is simple. Relax and recharge. I’m going to do something relaxing every week. Whether that is taking a luxurious bubble bath while listening to Beethoven, or taking a nap, or . . . → Read More: 31 Goals in 31 Days – Day 21 – Relax and Recharge
